In recognition of this critical relationship, the Australian Government, through the Australia-Pacific Partnerships for Aviation (P4A), is investing in ongoing governance training to strengthen the leadership of the Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) and other key regional bodies.
Delivered by the Governance Institute of Australia, this tailored training enhances board performance, clarifies roles and responsibilities, and supports transparent, effective decision-making. For SPTO, which represents a diverse membership including national tourism offices, airlines, hotels, tour operators, and cruise lines, strong leadership is essential to driving the sustainable growth of tourism and improving connectivity across the Pacific.
